I know that every people never use or speak language in a right way, or even they hate to. But for me, it is an important thing to use or speak language in the right way. Why?? Because I love language, I appreciate every language, especially that I learn. I love structure, I love grammar, I love them. People prefer using trend language both in her mother tongue or languages that they learn.
I have an experience, it was about my friend. One day, I asked my friend about what lol was. I did not know whether this was my mistake not knowing trend language or indeed my friend mastered trend language. She answered in this way, “I think you are a student of English Department, how come you do not know what lol is??” Actually I surprised hearing her answer, becoming embarassed because of myself. And one day, she asked me about a question, actually this question was for Senior High School student and I thought it was a question for National Exam.This was an easy question, how come she could not answer this?? Students of English Department do learn structure and grammar not trend language. Hmmmm,
Just for your information, I really want to be an English teacher. A teacher of grammar may be, or a teacher of structure and written expression, the point is being a teacher of General English. I always check structure and grammar in my writings after I finish it but I know that I still make a lot of mistakes in them. I believe I can improve well that is why I still have to learn more about it.
