Dutch as an Innovative Country in Education

Innovations play very important role in contributing advantages to a certain country. Innovations in Dutch arise as a result of many educated people. With knowledge, people are able to create innovations which later could benefit their country. Educated people need to update their information on nowadays event and that they need to read newspaper. Students, especially businessman are accustomed to read newspaper anywhere they are. When they are doing a travel to the office or school and when they are in public places, they sometimes read the newspaper while waiting for train, buses, or even their friends. Reading newspaper with a wide shape is not efficient, however, because sometimes this bothers other people with its wide shape. With this reason, Dutch people attempt to create newspaper in an efficient shape. What a creative people they are! This new kind of newspaper is vertical shape. Though this idea might be unique and simple, the advantage caused by this movement will affect much in people’s life because it directly connects to the efficiency and people’s daily life.
Talking about education, the most dominant aspect of it is library where people could get information and knowledge of anything, it can be from books, internets, or even some journals and researches. Dutch has a library called DOK which is financed by city council, it is located in Delft. This library is often called as entrepreneur library since it saves a potential of entrepreneur. There are kinds of membership that is free and paid membership and the librarians are able to make 28% delft inhabitants to enroll in a paid membership which enables them to access all facilities in this library. It is basically different from other libraries. Here, in this library, not only books can be found but also fast internet access in a lower cost. In DOK library, children are not only able to read books but they can also listen to music, play games and play station in computer.
