Italian Mid-term Exam

Unlike Dutch mid-term exam, Italian mid-term exam is easier for it is an open-book exam. However, Italian is a difficult language to learn, there are too many rules to remember. Though we are allowed to open the notes, I believe the questions will not be as easy as we imagine. We may open the note but we are not allowed to open the textbook, so I planned to make some notes on every unit/chapter in the book. I worked hard all day long to make notes on 10 units and I could finally finish it.
When the time came, Fabio, the name of the lecturer, has not come yet. It was exactly one o’clock. He never came late so far. We thought he would not come and we decided to leave the class. Actually it was annoying for me because I have written the notes which took very long time to make but then the exam was cancelled. I was so disappointed! I have learnt all things by spending most time to understand the things in the book but it was for NOTHING.
On my way to the parking lot I met Fabio. He said that he was a little bit late that day. He tried to reach the class but everybody ran away, that was what he said. I sometimes laugh at the way he speaks English because he still uses Italian dialect while speaking English. 
I told him that we have waited for 20 minutes and thought that he would not come because he was never late. Then, he said to me that he would reschedule the exam and I think we are going to have the exam a week after. Hmmmm, it is okay for me.. I wish I could do it! 
