Result of Italian Mid-term Exam

It has been a week since I had this exam. I was so depressed leaving the class since I have not finished all parts of this exam. The teacher said we would have an open-book test but he did not allow me to open the book or even the note when the day of the exam came. So, I did not study at all and I was so sure I could do nothing without my notes. I came to class at 1 o’clock and he directly gave me the result. What a surprise! I got 55, awful! What made me more surprised was that my result was the best five. I was so shocked! The highest score was 91. The teacher said that the safe range of the result was between 50 and 80. This meant that I was safe, it was not a really bad result. Yet still I have to study hard understanding all the grammar rules. Fortunately, I don’t hate grammar even I love learning it. I promise to do better in the final exam and I plan to take Italian class for the higher level in the next semester if possible.
